“Lending A Hand”

How can you help?

There are many ways in which you can help by becoming a “Friend of Sligo General Hospital”.  In addition to fundraising, voluntary initiatives such as:-

• Visiting patients
• Helping  to staff a mobile shop
• Assisting with organisation of events
• Hospital radio
• Christmas Carol singing
• Making cards and selling for “friends”
• Assisting with educational events and planning and organising of same
• Members of main and sub committees in organising events, publicising initiatives etc
• Updating and maintenance of webpage for Friends of Sligo General Hospital
• Admin duties such as acknowledgement of donations, and recording of minutes of meetings
• Flower arrangements

have proven successful for Friends of other hospitals and are key areas which we would to develop in partnership with you.

We cannot however achieve any of the above without your help.
